Sentinel: Finders, keepers

I can't believe I did this. Wrote for the ts_ficathons cliché challenge, that is. My prompts were kidnapping and sense of smell.

merryish talked me into it, but elynross made it happen: brainstormed the plot, stood over me while I wrote, edited. yay her!

This story is, for reasons which do not need exploring at this juncture, a crossover with Eroica.

::giggling happily:: I would have never thought anyone could make this crossover work and you did it so *perfectly!* Thank you, thank you, thank you -- this was wonderful fun!

Thank you! I never would have thought I'd write it, but it turned out to be one of those things that just click. :) Glad you enjoyed it!

eeeeeeeee!

This is wonderful.

I especially love the last six paragraphs (from "For the record" to the end) -- absolutely fantastic stuff, makes me go "awww" in all the best ways.

This is so fun.

*beams at you* I'm so glad! Having never written Sentinel before, I was so worried I'd screw up Jim and Blair. But it was really kind of like being a nervous new rider on a very experienced riding-school horse. ;)

Oh oh oh OH.

I am falling over myself adoring this. Best Eroica crossover ever. (Well, apart from the one that crossed Eroica with Blake's 7 and These Old Shades.)

Thank you! :) I really didn't think I'd write a wacky crossover for this challenge, but Ellen suggested it, and it turned out to be irresistible!

Hey, I dreamed about you last night. You were one of a bunch of people sitting around a table taking turns doing magic, and when it was your turn, you made it so Kate and Cecy from Sorcery and Cecelia and The Grand Tour came back to life after having been turned to stone in some adventure or other - they were sitting as stone statues on a stone bench by a stone balustrade in an Italian garden somewhere, and when you did the magic thing they jumped up and started talking. It was cool!

Well, maybe you had to be there.

Hey, I dreamed about you last night.

I meant to respond to this when I had got over the charm of your dreaming about me enough to be coherent, but I fear this is never going to happen.

*wibbles incoherently*

...would you mind pointing the way to those fics?

I loved this. Dorian and Blair would get along like a house on fire and Jim and Klaus would snarl at each other. *G* This was a lot of fun to read.
