Back while I was writing my sesa and yuletide stories, I really wanted to do an lj post about writing habits and writing techniques. Now I don't have to be secret any more, I'll try to make this post be that post
( Read more... )
I have a tendency to skip from scene to scene without a lot of transition, but within a scene I sometimes fall into overmuch detail, he took off his left shoe and then his right shoe, and that type of thing.
This isn't something I would ever have expected you to say - your writing always seems so clean and clear from the outside. Now I'm going to have to go back and read for shoes. :)
What a nice and condensed version you have there! Heh.
I've finally gotten around to read your SeSa story (I had to print out all the longer ones, since I hate reading those on the computer. I want to curl up somewhere when I read good stuff) and I thought it was just fabulous. Hilarious and charming and very clever. And extremely easy to read - it was over much too quickly (and I don't mean that you should have written more, just that I hate when good stories end...). Anyway, it was higly entertaining! Thank you. :D
