silent night

For some reason, my ideas for both yuletide and sesa make me want to talk about writing, and choices and styles and tricks and techniques, except obviously I can't. And my yuletide assignment has got me all fannishly gleeful about... things, which I also can't talk about on lj. And my sesa assignment has me rewatching clips that, you guessed it. I'm all excited about my yuletide story, too, though obviously can't talk about why, either. *g*

Now if only I knew what to write for my ds_seekritsanta story...

It's frustrating, isn't it? Though I suppose it would be worse not to feel excited about it. :)

Would you like some brainstorming assistance?

::nakedfrasernakedfrasernakedfraser::

Cause I'm totally willing to help out.

I feel faint just thinking about the scope of it. Big stories are scary when you're a Writer of Very Little Brain Attention Span.

I hope my yuletide squee lasts all the way through the actual writing...

I am doing one of my favourite things in the world in order to write the yuletide thing. It's a little like being locked into a chocolate factory without ever getting tired of chocolate.

Congratulations! :) I'm pretty pleased with my, ah, research, too, though I might not go so far as to call it chocolate.

You could write more HP fic...pleeeeeeeeeeeeeze? *big seal eyes* Because "A Spirit of Brotherhood" absolutely blew me away, and I want MORE, dammit, more!!!

It's one of the few fics that I printed off and kept. I go back to it every so often to remind myself how really talented people (read: you) write characterisation.

The depiction of food in that story is also one of my favourite things: Sirius and Lupin eating the ham and the bread. Makes my mouth water. And I don't even like ham! :)

I like to write about people eating stuff. (In RL, I like to cook for people. *g*) So very glad to hear you like Brotherhood! *beams* But there will be no writing of HP until I've got the yuletide and sesa finished. To everything there is a season, and all that. :)

Who are those guys in your icon?
