This makes me very happy

A video broke tonight showing our Nazi vice chancellor and one of his goons doing lines on Ibiza and making plans (to funnel money and other things) with a fake russian oligarch.

Even in Austria that might be too much to avoid stepping down.

Feels like Christmas.

I feel warm inside. I hope you are right. Small victories.

I really hope he's going down. Sadly it is mostly that he planned to sell the Krone Newspaper to the fake russian. That is gonna break his neck.

My bet is though that the coalition will just plow on. And Hofer, who will likely take over is in many ways more dangerous than Strache. He is smarter, a more convinced Nazi (but not as connected with the violent neonaziscene as Strache was) and even deeper into all that fraternity shit.

Weird though who knew about this video. Apparently Böhmi was joking about it back in April.

If nothing else it should damage them in the EU election big time.

They will replace Strache with Hofer. Not even he can survive that. Not sure that will be better though.

Everybody with half a brain knew what they are like, but now there is 7 hours of video to prove it.

The Russians aren't even having to be subtle about how they are the power brokers behind the rise of the far right across Europe, and somehow... they're getting away with it. It's strange to me that our security services are just letting them get away with it.

This thing wasn't the Russians, though. The FPÖ is their best friend. That's why it worked. This was either western intelligence or someone private, who just wanted the money.

Multiple outlets were offered the tape for money, the SZ says, they got it for free but there might have been a middle man who paid.
