Is anyone else missing posts by friends lately? I was waiting for shapinglight's GOT review yesterday and could not see it. Finally I went to her site this morning and there it was, but it still doesn't appear on my flist (and I don't have filters on ( Read more... )

Hmm. Well, I don't know how I'd know if posts were missing, lol. Short of just checking random journals to see if there was something I hadn't seen. I haven't been waiting for any post like you were to notice that something hadn't shown up.

That's the problem, it could be going on for some time and I would not even have noticed it. So I thought, I'd ask around.

Something weird did happen last week. A post showed up on my flist from 2011. But when I clicked on it, the entry wasn't there.

That's strange. Now that you say it, I got a notification that someone had answered to a post from 2010 of mine. But the comment wasn't there when I looked.

Yeah me too :(

I was curious, because there was only one other comment and there is usually a nice discussion going on so I started to wonder if it's invisible to others too.

I have not noticed it for other posts, but then most of them are not regular.

Certainly. Maybe they think content only distracts from valuable advertisement.

They have. They've included a box on the posting form that lets you choose not to have your post show up on friends pages or RSS feeds, and I managed to tick it inadvertently. ;)

Silly me.
