fdajskljf see, i just assumed that writing it so they were really successful was going to put the jinx on them, so i avoided that....but now that they're winning, i don't want to write as if they lose because what if that puts the curse on them!

I feel like you can always a) just say "this is an AU where they get eliminated in the group stages" or b) assume they will get eliminated soon (sorry boys) and see if your timeline/feelings of whatever can be slightly modified with that?

sigh, yes. well, with the Olympics rather than the Euros, but still. I am so completely over the moon for Kelly Smith making an unexpected recovery in time to play the Olympics! words cannot express my delight! but her being injured was my excuse for not trying to write Kelly/Alex and now my excuse is... gone... =/

but, um. alternate endings are always an option? and kind of fun!
