*Slightly disturbed* While I can't see that either Ancelotti or Costacurta have anywhere near enough hair or teeth, I feel your pain on the need to get all the details right, even when you suspect that nobody will ever, ever bother to check whether they were correct or not.
Well, no, we know they haven't, but they think they have. I hate it when they start imposing their own ideas upon my stories, curse them. (God, don't I know it about the details. I suspect my author's notes will be longer than the bloody story, at this rate.)
I've decided not to bother with notes. XD The story's long enough by itself. I'm just going to put a bit at the end saying "Anything they makes you go 'PLEASE LET THAT NOT BE TRUE!' is. Except the gay sex."
That's the problem with being a perfectionist, isn't it? You just have to get every tiny, little detail just right. Even the ones that don't matter, or won't be visible to anyone except yourself.
The positive point? Details make your fic more realistic, and allows the reader to get absorbed with your story more easily. That's nice, right? Not that I wouldn't be absorbed with your story either way...
SRSLY. Like ... anyone's even going to know the names of any Osmond other than Donny or Little Jimmy, never mind know which is which. And that's even assuming the younger members even know who the hell the Osmonds ARE! *flails*
Well, I tell you know, this going to be the most realistic story in the history of ever, the amount of details I've got. People are not going to be able to unabsorb themselves for days! *g* That's very sweet of you: I find Billy has that effect. ;)
