Wow! Four stories are already queued up in our collection on the AO3! (They range from ~2K to ~18K words. One is a crossover.) Congratulations to the great authors who are already all set! Best of luck to the rest of us, still putting the pieces together!

So when are the stories due? Tomorrow, Saturday 8/22 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). They begin

Can I mention how much I appreciate that they're due by end of day? I'm going to be writing like a crazy person to get mine done on time.

Oh, absolutely!

And to note again -- one of the nice things that we've gained by moving the stories off of LJ and DW and over to the AO3 is the ability to continue proofreading and polishing while the stories are waiting in the queue. You can tweak your story as many times as you like between when you post it to our AO3 collection and ... well, ever :-) as it's your story and you can always edit it, but hopefully it won't need any more polishing after it's released for everyone to read! It's not like LJ and DW, where posts are untouchable while they're in the queue.

(But of course anyone's story may be the one released on Monday. Even I don't know yet what order will look like the most fun for readers.)

Also, for the record, I'm not going to stay up until midnight, watching, just to slam the gate! :-) If it's loaded when I wake up on Sunday morning, I'll presume that it was loaded on time Saturday night.
