Thanks, gnosticdiva! It's been an amazing experience so far. The creative juices have gone wild, and I am at their mercy! So far, three stories have poured out of me and are complete, and two more are in the works and turning into monsters of their own! One of the unfinished monsters is the one I'm writing for the game. All I can say is that it's writing itself, that I am the conduit, and that it just won't end until it's finished! I feel very much like I'm just along for the ride.

I almost feel like I should apologize for entering the game in my first attempt at writing fiction, though,when everyone else has written such cool stuff in the past. Brightknightie has had her work cut out just in the hand-holding and encouragement departments! I've got the first posting jitters, big time! One week to go!

Everything will go excellently! Don't worry! (And, in case you wondered, you're not the very first player ever to have written his/her first fanfiction for this game. You are the second. ~grin~)

True story about first-time posting? The very first fanfiction that I ever shared myself, way back when FK was still on the air and fanfiction came either in paper 'zines or on a listserv, is, to this day, the most popular story I've ever posted. Yet I promise that I've written much, much better stories than that one in the two decades since!

Sometimes, I feel, there's just a bit of magic about a fanwriter's very first fanfiction effusion. :-)
