I got Andrea upset last night. Mainly because she started blowing smoke in my direction about her father's latest fit and I wasn't having it. I straight up told her she was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Poor girl, I've seen this. Watching someone decline is bad enough, this is just a bit crazy. Abusive - almost - if he is actually lucid enough to be willful about it. Serious suckage.

Dementia in and of itself is pretty frickin' awful. Both the afflicted AND the caregiver lose.

Awful load of baggage there to drag along behind. Dunno, man.

Yeah, my mom had plenty of stories about my grandmother's decline due to dementia. By the end, even with her being a registered nurse, my mom said she would have been unable to manage granny alone.

I'm not getting drawn into more nonsense. Andrea can either figure her stuff out or not.

Paradise has always been down the road a few exits...

I knew this was an extraction mission from the start. I just need her to dig deep and channel some Project Alice because I can't fight all these fights for her.
