Every time I watch Fanaa I can't work my brain around how some people didn't see this chemistry.

Oh YES.

This whole post is a thing of beauty. It's not a perfect movie, but what it gets right, it gets right amazingly. The emotions feel so real, so painful and so complex.

Exactly. I think if the first half goes wrong, it's difficult to get into the second half maybe, but I never experienced the problem. Sure Aamir looked not-his-best but he brought on the charm, as did Kajol, in a way that made me root for them so much the second half was just perfect on that emotional level.

Did you pre-order the DVD already? I can't wait to hear KK's director's commentary and omg, script-reading session with Aamir and Kajol. Just ..YES!
