running on empty (for Anita)

It's a little after midnight, and Henry Fitzroy has passed out on his couch. Technically, these are his waking hours, but he's not feeling very well rested, rather run into the ground, and consequently stumbled from what was a disastrous afternoon into his room and fell on the couch to sleep like (pardon the sort of pun) a dead thing ( Read more... )

Anita doesn't linger - after she spoke to Paul (and it was extremely frustrating, and she lost her temper once or twice) - she made directly for Henry's room, and knocks on his door, a gentle rap to announce herself.

Assuming she doesn't have the key. Also. Hiiiii!

She probably does have the key, and as there's no answer, she should probably use it. He stirs, slightly, but makes a little sleepy five more minutes noise and turns over.

She does use her key, and slips in, closing it quietly behind her... and sees her Henry, her eyes a bit sad, suddenly.

She pads over to the couch, and sighs. "Henry, darling?" Very, very softly.

He half opens one eyes not enough to see her, and mumbles, "Little longer," incoherently, sounding a bit younger than he usually does.
