So far the whole living abroad experience has been pretty interesting. My homestay is great. She does not overfeed me like everyone else and actually cooks quite well. I told her early on that I don't like fish or mayonnaise and she doesn't either! Horay! She makes lots of potatoes and cooks with lots of oil, but I couldn't expect her to be totally ( Read more... )

So really, he has never taken Russian before? How on EARTH did Middlebury let him on the program?

Well, he has taken Russian before, but is really bad at it. I have no idea how he could come to Irkutsk. Actually everyone is not as good as the Midd students, with the exception of Lara, aka the bitch. I have no idea what other people's blogs are. I'll put you on my big email list (you weren't on it before because I thought, "she'll be in Russia with me." Right, five time zones away.)
