I fell nauseated and exhausted into bed at six, right after dinner, but I'm not really wired for long sleeps, however fervently I desire them, wanting to just pass through boredom or physical discomfort on a raft of dreams. A going-away party! Yes. That is kind of what I thought was happening, there, and that is what you deserve. And you got your quasi-White Russians. Good luck with packing.

EDIT: Also, your subject is (unexpectedly?) relevant. "Birth of Serpents" was the song I listened to most, while moving out of the dorms, and especially that line. Never forget what it felt like to live in rooms like these.

Did you know that Ira Glass and Lynda Barry used to date? This sounds like a fact that you would already know and enjoy, although the last time I thought that you didn't actually know it.

Still no letter. I thought that maybe it would be there today because yesterday was a holiday and there was no mail, but all there was was a flyer from a new Chinese restaurant.
