so don't judge me so harsh (fell face-down, it didn't help my brain out)

Oh, there's that poorly-written anarchist zine that those other students at my school put out clandestinely in April! Thought I'd thrown it away.

It's a funny thing, though-- looking through it helped me understand a little bit better (on a conscious level) why I'm not very political or interested in liberal or radical or activist culture, whether ( Read more... )

but it's hard for me to forget about people being people, and all complicated, and all a mixture of many things, no matter what they've done or how I feel about them personally. ... And I like things that are beautiful more than I like things that are right.

Yes. Yes, yes, I know.

Noted. Please expect something. (Not alcohol, though. I'm not allowed to send that.)

Re: shower: do you have access to a (clean, lightly chlorinated) swimming pool anywhere? Sometimes a lengthy paddle helps me maintain a state of washed-ness for another day without having to deal with the temp problem or the shower inertia. Being in the pool for awhile helps with the (for me) Yech Tactile/Temp Issues of getting in a shower, too.
Chlorine has to be rinsed out of one's hair or else risk frying it, though...

Unfortunately, I don't really live in the type of neighborhood where people have pools. There's a public swimming pool, but it's heavily chlorinated, usually crowded, and probably not that clean.

There's a large industrial sink in the basement of my house that I've started trying to use to wash my hair and shave. I think if I wear deodorant and clean my face and if my hair doesn't get too dirty-looking or unkempt, people might not notice if I don't shower for a while. < / gross >

^It's not gross...some of us have sensory issues with this stuff...it'd only be gross if you weren't doing ANYTHING about staying clean.

(lumiere is grateful for properly utilized washcloths and electric razors, too)
