The wing situation is looking up! I hope to have it resolved by the end of the week. Um, it turns out that I was mistaken and that the wing actually did belong to a hawk. I might doubt the ability of a campus cop to correctly identify the kind of bird it came from, but I figure a real live ornithologist is going to know what she's talking about ( Read more... )
