Just Jan again a few day later. Just wanted to let you know of a typo of sorts in one of the lace patterns.
The chart for coral stripe on row 5 shows an inverted "v" at beginning and centre of pattern repeat. The key which is actually printed on this page says inverted "v' means to slip. I thought this sounded strange but did it. Of course my stitch count was way out at end of repeat. When I look on your link to stitch symbols, i see it means slip, knit 2 tog, psso. That of course makes much more sense and also shows why I thought it was strange. I thought I'd let you know so you could amend the legend on the chart for that pattern. Chart itself is fine, just legend needs expanding for that symbol.
No, the inverted V (according to my charts) is a slip 1, k2tog, psso. The normal "V" is slip 1 stitch with yarn in back. Someone this got deleted from the chart, but it's on there now. The symbol for thie sl 1kw, k1, psso is found on the chart for 2A
hi just browsing and found your link on danish shawls and would like to know if you have a free pattern for one. I'm a newbie but know how to use circular needles on simple patterns. Thanx

I'm sorry, but I've never designed or knitted a lace shawl. I get bored so easily. That's why I've stuck to rewriting and charting swatches. There's a lot of free lace shawl patterns on the internet. Just google "knitted lace shawl patterns" and you will come up with a huge selection.
