It's . . . been a very long week. Lina-san tried to kill me, Zelgadiss-san was speaking strangely and wasn't very nice, and I woke up a couple of nights ago next to the fountain. Well, more on the edge. Like . . . I was about to jump in

Um . . . yes. ^^; It was a little scary.

. . . Actually, it was a lot scary. Lina-san is a very good sorceress.

That, I guessed. Why did she want to kill you?

It's . . . a little complicated. I'm not sure I entirely understand. It was something about she'd been hired to befriend the heir of Saillune and to kill her -- and that she'd spent three years doing the friend part.

But she didn't know who sent her. And also she's had a lot of chances to kill me before this, so it didn't make much sense. I guess it was a curse.

Why were you at a fountain anyway? Wouldn't jumping in kinda, you know, hurt?

I don't really know. ^^; I was wearing a fancy dress, though. And my face was all wet, like I'd been crying. But I couldn't really remember crying.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I was able to talk to Lina-san about it.

In our world, we're not sure about things that are destroyed or pass away, so there's nothing really for certain. But a couple of the banishing spells refer to a "universe between." Lina-san thinks it might be the Sea of Chaos, where the creator of our worlds, L-sama, lives. Everything, she thinks, returns to chaos in our world.

The last few curses have been.. strange, to say the least. I don't know where the clothes came from either.

Er.. sorry for the way I acted during the last curse. I don't have any explanation for that curse.

...I don't think we're ever going to get the deposit back for this apartment.
