[Despite Snake's ability to freely move about more or less on his own, Fox continues to keep a watchful eye on the man he considers a brother. Knowing Snake still needs a bit more time to adjust to walking, he will refrain from kicking his crutches out from under him... At least, until tomorrow.]

[Snake turned his head over his shoulder, glancing over to Fox. He nodded slowly, still in awe of the room. Being surrounded by boxes should have been a dream come true. Like one big box orgy.]

[He shifts against his crutches, moving to sit himself down on a box.]

[Mama was looking for her sons in order to wish them a happy birthday when she happened to stumble into this room. The woman opens her mouth to speak, but... the sight of David in crutches throws her off a bit.]

I know that. I already have started to heal, but that wasn't down to genes. It was down to good medicine and the Nexus.
