[For the past five days, the Nexus has seemed... a little quieter, somehow. The kitchens suddenly don't look like a tornado has blown through them around dinner time, and healthy young ladies and gentlemen can walk around with much less potential for harrassment

[Kaz does as Liquid asks and doesn't say anything else. A part of him recognizes this isn't really the way he wants this to go, but he's just not with it. If this were emotional fatigue, he could overcome it, but the physical strain is too much for him to effectively deal with this.]

[He eats everything Liquid gave him even though his stomach feels stretched from it. Once finished, he rests his head against his forearm on the table as if to take a nap... finally sated, his body takes this as a hint to get some serious rest.]

[Kaz tiredly looks up at Liquid, the look in his eyes especially sickly.]

[His eyes drift closed, his bare chest rises and falls with his breath.]
