[As Rose was walking in the Nexus, she passed by an ornate set of doors. A banner was strung up on top of the door that said in large letters "Happy Birthday Rose!"]

[Tickled that someone remembered her birthday, she pushed the door open. On the other side, rather than just a normal lounge of the Nexus,  was a large ornate ballroom. Stepping inside

[There's Rose over there. She's busy marveling at the ballroom right now, but eventually her gaze flickers down to Jack and she immediately feels conflicted. She's always happy to see Jack, especially this one but... it was still hard to forget what he did to the other Jack.]

[She immediately recognized the necklace as being from the Titanic movie, but she hadn't yet made the connection about the room they were in yet.]

It's beautiful. Where did you get it?

[Thank god for large banners! Jack runs off upon being reminded of Rose's birthday, search for a room with something to get her. In the end, he decides on a large bouquet of roses, because he doesn't really see how he can go wrong with that and he doesn't trust himself to pick out something like jewelry.]

[Heading back to that room, he walks inside, surprised when he finds himself wearing some old fashioned clothes. Well, that's not important, he knows he better find Rose and fast.]

[Don't worry, Rose found you! She's pleased to see the bouquet of Roses in your hands too. He remembered!]

[He holds out the roses to her, smiling at the sight of her in that big dress. He knows she must be enjoying that.]

[It was pretty nice to be all dressed up like that. It's a little hard to move around in though.]

[She smiled widely as she took the roses from him.]

[Oh hey, Rose had almost forgot about her own birthday until she saw the banner.  She couldn't help but feel like there was something familiar about that room, but that was forgotten when she noticed she was now wearing a fancy designer gown. :3< ]

[AND A ROSE HAS BEEN SPOTTED...BUT JACK HAS YET TO ACQUIRE A GIFT! He keeps an eye on her as he sneaks around, looking through the room for anything that looked...gift-y.]

Looks like the Nexus remembered my birthday.

[He quickly grabs a nearby vase of flowers and shoves it behind is back before acknowledging Rose.]

Oh, yeah? Me too.

[Jack looked up at the banner, staring for a moment as he realizes, Oh, shit, he forgot Rose's birthday...again! He decided to blame it on all the drama of the last 5 days, but it's not like he would have remembered anyway. Figuring he could wing it like last time, Jack pushed open the door and stepped inside. He found himself in a dark grey suit, and the first thing he did was dispose of that awful tie.]
