Found out today a lady I worked with a few years ago (2006-2009) passed away last Friday

Wow that's mightly insensitive. I didn't work at your workplace yet I remember you talking about her - surely working WITH her you'd remember. But some people can be complete jackasses.

It happened with N's funeral. 2 people refused to go to his funeral (despite the WHOLE of my old store, ex members of that store, ex managers etc going). Because they didn't like his management style. *sigh* Some people can just be idiots about the really unimportant things I guess....

You wouldn't think she'd be one you'd forget. Always suspected they were asswipes in there. Or most of them at least.

Many hugs and many tears today :( At least she is at peace now, no more suffering. It's just hard to look at it that way.

Sadly it seems to be a bit of a trend with HR departments, you get the odd gem of a person but 90% are assholes.

There's always someone... my utterly lovely ex manager died a month or so ago and at his funeral J found out that someone had written really inappropriate comments in the book work put together when he retired on ill health grounds (terminal cancer), basically slagging loads of people off.
