What can I say about that one? Bored out of my mind through it, hard to work out if it was the track or the new regs or whatever, guess we shall see when we get to Australia ( Read more... )

I had a moment where I ran my finger down LT about halfway through the race when I thought "they haven't mentioned Nick I wonder...oh..."

:(

But Fernando made up for it by winning :D (somewhat)

Heart wrenching isn't it? I'm still finding myself looking in the back of shot for Fisi during the media bits and stuff. Meh.

He did. A win for ma team pleases me.

It's worse than I thought actually...knowing they are *there* but not racing is hard :(

I think Fernando will be the best thing about F1 this year - bar Jenson beating the arse off the twat.

I was more into it than I expected to be, thanks to the two at the front I guess. But yeah, seeing Fisi during coverage of quali broke me, I'll be happier when he is racing his Le Mans series stuff and I have properness of him to follow...
I guess it's to be expected with the amount of time we've been supporting these guys.

You can't slash Button/Hamilton. It would break up the ultimate love in - Sutil/Hamilton (in the bit where they were talking about nights out, and Hamilton said he was in having piano lessons, obviously code for doing stuffs to Sutil who plays piano really well).

Just hit the PC on re-watch, Felipe just made me cry, including the Fisiness! Yeah, am SO a Ferrari fan this year! Fernando, Felipe and Fisi.

I'm torn between wanting to see Fisi and Nick in their respective garages during races this year and not wanting to see them due to :(.

Yeah, it's so hard. Seeing Fisi fills me with squee, because it's Fisi and all that, but I'd so rather he be on the track not stood in the garage.

I know how you feel, I miss Kimi something fierce. (Though lets face it, he got out at the right time since chasing trees around a forest is more entertaining than anything that happened in Bahrain today.)

And I still can't decide who to support. Still love Jense obviously but McMerc? Not so much. And as much as I love Ferrari supporting Fernando just doesn't sit right really. I might have to be the bigger person and say clean slates all around.

From testing Fisi is maybe going to do well in the Le Mans series. I hope, it'll break me if he doesn't.

I cannot support a MooClaren driver, pure and simple so Jenson is out now for me. Fernando I have a lot of respect for, I could cope with supporting him. I think.

I've got virtually the same issues with Fernando that I've got with Michael - greatest respect for his talent its just the man that irks me. If he does well for the team though I'm sure I can see my way around the issue :)

I had two years of Fernando being the bane of my existance with Fisi at Renault, but I have never disliked him really. Apart from when he gets his petulant three year old strop on over the radio ("I'm faster than he is... what can I DOOOOO to get past").

I totally know what you mean though.

Agreed on all counts! It was a pretty sodding dull race, but it's the lack of over-taking that pisses me off the most.

It'll be interesting to see if it's the track or the regs. Perhaps things will improve when they are more used to the uber heavy cars. There were some overtaking that got really good... just not enough!

It's a combination of teh track and the ability to overtake in dirty air, I think. But none of teh reg changes seem to be giving the audience the excitement they want.

Part of me thinks they need to stop constantly changing things and giving the teams a year or two to work with the regs and see if that improves it.
