Because I can really!

Utterly adorable that Tarquini has a fanclub sticker in his car. Or does that mean that he is the only member?

Don't have large hopes for Farfus in this one, but race 2 mayhaps!

I was like "oh noes, Andy has a problem", with a side thought that depending on how much his car dies Augusto might get another spot. Then all hell was letting loose and suddenly Jorg has gone and everyone is letting Augusto pass them (he must have gotten past a couple of SEAT's as well there though, so kudos to him).

*blinks* did we really just see that???? Martin Haven sounded so shocked and impressed!

Yeah, it did look like Andy was in trouble, with how much he was dropping back. Could there be some BMW epicness on race two...? *lives in hope*

The first start felt more like the crash-happy BTCC than WTCC - hope Sergio is okay. :/ Shame Alex didn't make much gains, and I swear there's a clause in the WTCC rulebook that says 'don't penalise Tarquini for anything ever'.

There must be, for Augusto to be penalised for what was basically a racing incident and Tarquini not to be penalised for cutting the chicane is bad stewarding in my opinion (not to mention his hit on Zanardi was worse than Augusto's on Menu this race). I hope Sergio is okay as well, he's not my favourite driver, but I wish no ill on him, he is one of my BMW boys after all!

I don't think they will ever out crash the epicness of Pau and the Safety Car crash though!

What a weird first race!

I'm not too fond of that team work there, though.. same goes for Tarquini not getting penalized for cutting the shicane...

I can't believe that Augusto got penalised for a RACING INCIDENT and Tarquini didn't get penalised for cutting the chicane. We really need some consistency on the stewards side.

I like the team work there, makes a nice change for BMW to be acting as a whole for once and not all for themselves. Especially given mathematically Jorg and Andy could still win the championship for themselves.

But I might just like it because it helped my favourite Brazilian out!
