As you may know, I spent last week getting some good ol' R and R at the family cottage in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  I enjoyed the company of my parents and their friends, an older married couple named Jean and Ron.  They're good people, but Ron in particular is something else.  At the age of 62, he is very much an old curmudgeon: his pop culture
