In which doors thwart me at every turn

I have the worst luck with doors. Every year I seem to have an ~*unfortunate incident*~ with a door. In my first year of university, I was living in the dorms, and one night I went out with a friend and realized halfway through the night that my keys weren't in my purse. I was going to say that one was the most panic-inducing incident, but in retrospect, all of them were pretty upsetting at the time. XD

thank goodness you didn't get locked out for too long! it's surprisingly difficult to break into your own place, which is strange since we should know our digs better than any burglar. I'm glad you're OK and not outside *shivers*

Knowing that your own place is hard to break into has its plus sides: if you can't break in easily, neither can a burglar. ;) It wasn't too bad because there were these foam pieces from a futon in the hallway that I could've spent the night on, and my housemate offered to lend me her sleeping bag as well -- though I must say that I was very happy not to have to resort to that..!

Ah horrors... I'm perhaps sort of glad that I'm not dorming. XD;; I don't want to be more stressed out than I already will be. I'm glad that it all ended somewhat well. But seriously, someone needs to take a look at all those doors!

Dorming isn't so bad because someone else will have master keys! But I really need to be more careful and pay more attention. XD;;;
