I have been thinking about Angry at the World a lot lately and I've reached a decision. For the story to go where I want to go, to have a proper ending, to make sense, it can no longer be based on the original one-shot. Angry at the World has to be rewritten. The most major changes will be in the first few chapters, beginning with the fact that

For a moment you had me worried; i thought you had decided to leave the site or worse, quit! To be truthful, I had a lot of fun getting distracted by all the other authors while you were away, but you were always on the back of my mind. (sappy as it may seem)

So don't pressure yourself; whatever you come up with I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Always will support you! :D

I wasn't really intending on ever reviewing "angry at the world," because it seems like you had so many other more eloquent reviewers than I am, but I just finished reading the story when I came across this announcement, and I thought I'd give you my two cents

It's been awhile since you wrote this, but I want to respond anyway. I very much appreciate your review.

I understand how you feel about the original characters, and not long after introducing Danna, and especially now, I feel that she has nowhere to go and is poorly developed. She will most likely be edited out of the story, but the others will probably remain.

As for the rape, I just found it inconsistent with the ending that I want to write. The truth is though that I don't know quite what ending I do want. So...I won't reveal any more. Actually, this made me do a little brainstorming right now. Maybe I've got an idea.

I am so busy, but my winter break is coming up soon. I hope to do a lot of revising then.

i understand completely :D

i am an architecture major, and every idea i have eventually gets run through the grinder that is my mind. every often the idea i came up with first is completely destroyed and i just start running in a completely different direction!

i am looking forward to the continuation of this story though! many of my favorite stories have been stopped dead, and many of my favorite authors have stopped writing due to personal issues and etc. i understand rl stuff, but i do look forward to your progress in this story <3

its hard to find writers that are willing to go back to square one and fix a problem.
