I have gotton over my American Idol fase. I know I will make it, but I've decided not to take that route. Today, I'm going to pack for my trip to New York, work, write more thank you notes for graduation gifts and to people I stayed with in Colorado, and perm my hair. Oh boy. My summer is so hectic and it won't slow down any time soon. I am going to New York soon. I'll also go to a two week camp in Colorado and I'll have to go to a college orientation sometime too. Well, last night I had dinner with the family, showed everyone a plaque I earned, and then played cards before going to bed around 11:00 p.m. I took a shower this morning, called Jackie, called home, played more cards, ate, and now I'm just waiting for it to be time to go to my cousins' graduation. I just drove seven hours by myself. That's the longest I've ever driven. My family is scared out of their minds for me, but I'm glad they let me spread my wings and go. I am eighteen, however. Graduation went well and I just finished my grad. party. I had lots opf fun and was happy to see everyone. And now life has to go on. I hope to keep in touch with many people. I'm curious to see how things go this summer. TTYL.

WHEW! Today is my first day of high school freedom. My Graduation went well last night. Te seniors sang the song nearly correctly this time, I wasn't near as board as I thought I would be, and I got my all important diploma. I did it! I finished my senior finals! Now I can kick back, go to rehearsals and then graduate. That's scary, "I'm finished." I've devoted thirteen years of my life to a routine that I hated.
