Usually, I keep it open until interest peters out, which normally takes 10-14 days, which is about a month in internet time ;)

I updated the deadline info (thanks for the clarification!).
I'm not sure how many people will follow from here (my flist is fairly quiet atm with most people being either busybusybusy or away from the internet, but might as well, right?)
