Very sweet. :D Loved the part about the knees.

(You might want a lj-cut, though....)

*glee* Yay! I'm so happy it worked for you :)

(Now LJ-cut. Thanks for the reminder on that. I originally wasn't going to cut, because the story is so short. But there's the authorial ramble at the beginning too, which I forgot to consider.)

Awwwwww! Lovely imagery. I adore just woken up in the morning boys. Glad my prompt prompted this :D

Lovely icon!

I'm glad you liked this! (And the official one will have at least a bit of belly-snuggling! Even if I have to paste it into an epilogue!) I'm especially happy to hear about the imagery-- I wasn't sure if it would translate outside my head.

No longer first, nor second, nor even tenth, just some unknown number that turns into a 'the', making it one of a continuous mornings.

And knees! That are gangly and knobby and unchanging!

This is lovely <333

:) *glee* Thank you!

That line is, I think, my favourite. I think it's incredibly romantic. (Some day I might see if I can write a series of ficlets off of it, showing how different couples behave at the time when the unknown number turns into a 'the'. And someone is going to be breaking into someone else's flat, so that it smells like cookies when that someone else gets back from a long trip. But the flight was delayed and so the cook pulled the cookies out of the oven and then went to the bedroom to pick out a DVD to watch whilst waiting and ended up falling asleep on the bed waiting (The traveler will point out in the morning that the bed wasn't exactly next to the DVD rack. The response will be the stealing of her cookie.) And the traveler will get home to a house that smells like cookies, go to the bedroom, pull the DVD out of the sleeper's head, and poke her until she budges over in her sleep. Or something.) Um, hallo, rambling in comments?

And the knees just sort of snuck into the story with their pointy ways :)
