Hee, I will never tire of using that Psych quote. Anyway, no surprise, Damian continues to astound me with his magnificence. I've just watched him in Much Ado About Nothing and he made me swoon like crazy. He does comedy so awesomely well that I wish he did more. I already love the original story, so I knew I'd like it, but the modern day adaption was really well done. Damian and his goofballness was way too hard to resist. I could have done without the goatee and bad hair style, but he cleaned up at the end (after he fell in love, squeeeeee!!!!), which made up for that. I can already tell that I'll be watching this over and over and over again. Also, Rose from Dr. Who was in this. Just thought I'd point that out.
I also watched Friends and Crocodiles, and that was... different. It wasn't particularly all that great, but the relationship between Paul and Lizzy was fascinating simply because it wasn't a romantic love story. Here are two extremely beautiful people where sex never comes into the equation, nor any kind of romantic love, and yet they are so powerfully drawn together and they just aren't complete without one another. It's just weird seeing a relationship in a feature length film that never turns romantic, is purely about work and friendship. Damian was ridiculously gorgeous, of course, even with his hippie hair. But... yeah, definitely not a favorite film. It's worth it just for the gorgeously arrogant Damian though. I love how he still carries himself with the air of a king even after he's lost all his money. Damian has this way of giving personality to his characters with just the way that he moves his body. Paul is always walking with his head up, taking long, confident strides, a slight grin on his face. That pretty much defines him right there. Damian is pure awesomeness, plain and simple.
