Whyyyyyyyyyy?

My reaction to the latest Best Love (besides my high pitched "Why" scream): HAAAAAAAART BRAAAAAAAAKE. Damn it, show! Damn it! Why do you make them so irresistibly adorable only to CRUSH OUR AZALEA PETALS in the end? *sniff* Oh gosh, the back and forth with these two. You know I am a sucker for unrequited love. But two-way unrequited love ( Read more... )

FIRTHY FIRTHY TALK TO ME ABOUT BEST LOVE

IT'S GOING TO MAKE ME EXPLODE, I CAN FEEL IT D:

And City Hunter!! Let me know how it goes, I was interested in it despite having the dude from That Fool who seems to have only one expression.

...that was vague.

BEST LOVE IS THE ACTUAL BEST. HIS FACE. HIS FACE! Oh gosh, the scene where she touches his scar gives me palpitations. HOW CAN THEY BE SO HOT YET SO INNOCENTLY ADORABLE AT THE SAME TIME?

I'm hoping that City Hunter turns out to be good. I honestly can't tell just from the first two eps, simply because the first two eps were so drastically different from each other. But I love Lee Min Ho and, to a lesser extent, Park Min Young, and they had lovely chemistry in I Am Sam, so I'm kind of sad that their chemistry is so lackluster in City Hunter. Eh, I'll be honest, I wish City Hunter was purely an action revenge drama.

I'm so, so, so, so worried that the OTP isn't going to end up being the OTP - I mean, I like the Hong Sisters and all, but they're really good at fucking you up until the last moment - then bam! something comes out of nowhere and you want to clutch a pillow and cry for fifteen days. I know it was stupid to think it was going to be ~flowers~ and ~rainbows~ for 16 episodes I just...I think sisterjune said it best below - it sucks that she's pinin' now. I like them best when they're waring with each other! WHY AM I SO INVESTED?! it's because you are in love with Cha Seung-won and Gong Hyo-jin, Pieces

I'm not even making any sense. Jin and Ae Jung BAWWWWWW etc.

Is City Hunter more than an action show? I'm kind of looking for something breezy to tide me over as I cry waiting for Best Love subs. Actually, I've been watching Running Man, which is a kvariety show - come to the dark side and watch it with me, you know you want to...

(BUY THE BEETHOVEN VIRUS DVD SET. I'LL TALK YOU THROUGH THE WEBSITE :D)

Really? I've always thought that the Hong Sisters were pretty predictable in the OTP department. I have no fears there. I'm just worried that Dokko Jin will no longer be his adorable, hopelessly besotted self anymore.

City Hunter is trying to be both an action show and a quirky romcom, but as you can probably tell, I wish it would just pick one or the other, because the tones aren't meshing too well for me (I think I'm in the minority though). The first ep is anything but breezy. In fact, it made me cry buckets. The second ep, however, is very breezy. So I don't even know what this show is going for tonally. But you might enjoy it, I don't know. I think I just got excited about it being an action drama, which it isn't exactly. I mean, it is, but not really. So, I don't know. But if you like looking at Lee Min Ho, then it's pretty enjoyable. If I am honest though, I found myself being totally in love with the boss guy of the secret service, which is ridiculous because he's so minor that they haven't even said his name yet ( ... )

I was actually pretty mad about the best love end. I dont like it when its the girl pining for the guy in general and in this particular instance there is zero charm in it. what worked so well before was this really famous powerful wealthy guy being brought down by his love for this woman who's not on his level and it was made even more intense and interesting by the fact that she didnt originally return his feelings. but now they are flipping it and the reverse doesnt work AT ALL. it just makes ae jung look pathetic and she already is made to look sorry half the timme its just really frustrating why hong sisters chose to do that especially since it doesnt make sense that he would go from being super besotted to not caring anymore just like that. UGHHH. I dont know if I wanna keep watching, I will cause I wanna know what happens and I'm attached to the characters but I really hate this turn of events like alot.

Honestly, I suspect that this turn of events is just a way to propel the Ae Jung/Pil Soo romance. Ae Jung was thisclose to rejecting the dating show simply because she knew it would give Dokko Jin heart pangs, so now she has no reason to reject the show, and this way she can date Pil Soo without feeling guilty. I think she'll still be hung up on Dokko Jin, and I'm sure that Dokko Jin will eventually come to the conclusion that he still likes Ae Jung, so, I'm interested in seeing where the show goes from here. I'm just sad that we've probably lost the adorableness of openly besotted Dokko Jin.

I didn't read up Best Love because I'm only up to episode 4!! I need to watch more!!!

City Hunter. I also felt like the 1st 2 episodes were 2 different shows. The 1st episode was SO intensed I LOVED it! The 2nd episode was good but not nearly as powerful as the 1st. I think its going to really be a great show though. I'm excited for more episodes.

I hope you're right about City Hunter! The first ep gave me expectations that it maybe shouldn't have.

I still have no idea what the hell you're talking about.... 15lbpurebunny May 28 2011, 20:59:11 UTC
....but I think you're hilarious all the same.

So what is this journal all about now? Korean tv? You know what they say. Once you go Korean, you....um, well. I'm sure they say something that rhymes with that.

And that dude totally had lip injections, btw. Gross!

BUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!! *glomps*

I'm afraid that Korean TV has taken over my brain. I can't help it! They write stories that I love! They make (almost) all of my shipping dreams come true!

Yeah, I'm seriously wondering if he got lip injections. I can't tell for sure. It just doesn't make sense. I keep flip-flopping between lip injections and false teeth, because in the press conferences he looks like his normal self, but when he's in character it's like his teeth grow, or his top lip won't go down, or something. I don't know. He's still the best, though.
