I LOVED COMMUNITY. I love D&D. And nerdage. So. BUT OH GOD, COMMUNITY. I watched the episode because I knew it was going to be the D&D ep, basically. But now I'm thinking I should watch the rest of the show.

DEFINITELY WATCH THE REST OF COMMUNITY! Because it is awesome. Everyone raves about Modern Warfare (which is another concept episode. It's a parody of apocalypse and action films, basically), so I'd suggest that ep next. Or else Epidemiology (the zombie episode). I myself prefer the more character driven eps though, like Cooperative Calligraphy. But, yeah, watch the whole show. Season 1 goes from mediocre to OMG AWESOME fairly quickly. It's just the first few eps that are a little sluggish. Season 2 has been pretty hit and miss with me, though (but still a lot better than most shows on TV, to be honest)

Probably because they're actually letting Jack and Liz be friends this year.

That and minimal romance!Jack AND Avery.

Yeah I wasn't really disturbed by Liz is 'gross' because it was pegged to the many many many sacrifices she does for Jack. I don't even think there is a line she wouldn't cross for him at this point. Jack owes her much more than just middle-naming the kid after her (even though that was sweet).

Oh gosh, yeah, minimal romance!Jack is definitely a plus. And I like that, even though Avery is a permanent part of Jack's life now, she's barely even there. It's sad that Jack's wife is so insignificant to his life, but... THAT'S WHAT HE GETS FOR NOT MARRYING LIZ. Or, well, divorcing Liz? But yeah, Liz will always be his real life partner.

THEY ARE SO ADORABLE, OMG I LOVE THEM! LOVE!!!!!! Yeah, Jason was being a jerk in the last ep, but I love that Pil Suk wasn't blind to his jerkiness. She didn't try to defend him, she acknowledged his faults and made him aware of them. Jason is too cocky, and it's something that that dance teacher has been trying to get across to him from the beginning but has failed to do, but Mr. Kang and Pil Suk managed to do the job. I can't wait to see Jason's transformation now, and OH do I want to know how Jason and Pil Suk will eventually get together.

As for the main romance, ugh. Hye Mi and JG are so damn boring together. I've... pretty much been rooting for Hye Mi/Sam Dong from the second episode. Even moreso now since JG has gone so far off course. Plus, Sam Dong is just way more interesting as a character, and he brings out the sweetness in Hye Mi without really trying. But, yeah, Hye Mi is forever hung up on JG. UNFORTUNATELY.

I loved 30 Rock! I think this season is working because they're focusing more on the relationships between members of the crew (especially Jack and Liz) instead of relationship drama. Frankly, I'm relieved that Jack is married so that we no longer have to suffer through an endless parade of girlfriends (and I actually like Avery). Though they need to bring back Wesley Snipes because even though I love Matt Damon Carol is less than useless. ANYWAY. Loved Jack/Liz this week as well as Jack/Kenneth.

I liked Community for the most part, but I've played some D&D so I "got" it. The Annie/Abed scene was probably my favourite.

I haven't watched the other shows yet *le sigh*.

By the way, are you friends with fairchilds at all? I was just wondering because she's super into kdramas and she's been talking about Dream High a lot lately. In any case, she's posted a bunch of picspams over at wednesdaydreams.

I will not lie, I kind of hope that Liz stays with Carol now just because I fell in mad love with Matt Damon after True Grit. Which is just... weird. I do miss Wesley Snipes, though.

And thank you for the friend rec! I will have to check out her journal, because I am super lonely in my Dream High obsession right now.
