Just watched 2x06. Most intense episode ever, y/y? I literally screamed and jumped during the snake scene and got goosebumps for a good long while. Could barely watch the torture scene from all my cringing, but it was in that "oh my god this is so good but so disturbing" kind of way, disturbing simply because

Yeah, as much as the Damon/Elena shippers try to convince me otherwise, I just can't see how Elena could ever legitimately end up with Damon unless Stefan dies, but even then it would take a whole lot of convincing for me to believe in them as a couple. But at the same time, I love their scenes together more than I do the Stefan/Elena scenes, it's just... you know, she loves Stefan! And I seriously doubt that that will ever change. And I think what I love about Damon/Elena so much is that tension between them, that fine line they walk between love and hate, curiosity and lust, wanting something that they shouldn't want. Without that element of them never being able to get together, I'm not quite sure that I'd be as interested in them as I am now. But then I see these genuinely sweet moments between them and I'm like, "Guh! They need to end up together," but then Stefan walks in and I'm like, "Oh... oh right. She loves Stefan." *sigh*

And a very big yes to more Stefan/Caroline. I keep hoping that the show will team them up
