I'm sad the shipping meme is over. :( Especially since I didn't watch the show your ultimate ship was on. (But I ship it by default just because you do--although I also think I would've liked Spuffy.)

Anyway, great moments. I think Abed as a vampire sort of trumps the Batman moment for me even though Batman was hilarious. There was just something so unexpected about that vampire moment. Genius.

Okay, dude, unpopular fandom opinion time: I didn't care for the Abed as a vampire moment. Pretty much everyone I know names that as their favorite Abed moment, but for some reason it never gets a laugh out of me. I have no idea why.

I too am sad that the shipping meme is over. And you seriously need to watch Buffy, because I'm pretty sure you'd fall in mad, mad love with Buffy/Giles (and the show is definitely one of the greatest ever created, so it's not just Buffy/Giles that I love, much as my posts might mislead you on that). I thought that I'd like Spuffy too, but then that romance just ended up grating on my nerves, especially since it kind of ruined the Spike character for me (and, okay, I'll say it, he gets between Buffy and Giles and it freaking kills me).

I'm really bad with shows that have a supernatural element. Really bad.

I think I like them for the supernatural but then I discover that it's really probably more about something else and once I don't get enough of that thing (usually a ship) I'm so over it.

Haha, I am the same way, actually, which is why I stayed away from Buffy for as long as I did. But the show is probably the most emotionally resonating show that I have ever come across (once it gets past season 1. Season 1 was kind of ridiculous and sort of struggled over what kind of show it wanted to be, but by season 2 it was simply amazing). I watched Buffy during the height of my Anthony Head obsession, so I probably enjoyed it more than I would have, but oh man is it an awesome show. I love it quite a bit (and if you fall for Buffy/Giles, there is plenty of that ship to suit your appetite until mid season 6, but heck, even with an absent Giles I was like, "OMG, BUFFY IS SO IN LOVE WITH GILES, WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST ADMIT IT ALREADY. GOD.").
