EMO WILL = TERRIBLE. PLEASE STAY OFF OF MY TV. That scene with Terri was so horribly out of character as we have known him that it just left me dumbstruck. If that is an actual aspect of Will, it makes me like him even less. He flip flops between being one of my favorites and the one that I hate the most, and this just really tips the scales to ( Read more... )

How exactly did you expect him to react to the news?

Not violently. Angry, sure, but that scene had an ABUSE!!! vibe that just didn't sit well with me (and really didn't fit Will at all).

Why couldn't they have made his married life happy and have all of his strife coming from Sue? And Emma could just be his kooky best friend with a perpetual unrequited crush. Leave all the actual romance to the kids and have Will/Terri be the healthy, established couple (a la Coach/Mrs. Coach from Friday Night Lights). I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed this show so much more if that was the case.

This, so much. "Glee" would capture my heart completely if this was the case. But alas, it seems Ryan Murphy created Terri with one particular thought in mind: He apparently needed an 'obstacle' for Will and Emma. (Jessalyn Gilsig said this in one of her recent interviews. :P) However, I don't think that necessarily spells out the end for Will/Terri just yet. If Jessalyn's interview is any indication, I don't think Terri is going to leave right away. But at the same time, I don't have much hope of Will getting back with Terri either - not with Will/Emma being the producers' plan for endgame. Bleh. Like you said, it bums me out ( ... )

LOL I JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT WILL. I mean seriously, how stupid is this douche? Why would you rip the plastic off a mattress THAT ISN'T EVEN YOURS AND YOU HAD NO IDEA BEHIND? The kids probably would have realized that they weren't supposed to have them, esp with Rachel there, but their own damned teacher who had been to competition before and NEVER READS THE RULE BOOK, did. Lol what a moron. I don't even get why Rachel apologized when it was all because Will was a moron with his marriage, a moron emotionally cheating on his wife, a moron for ACTUALLY DARING TO GET BETWEEN EMMA AND KEN that afternoon at lunch, and a moron for taking the plastic off a mattress.

I really liked Emma tonight for going I CHOOSE ME and sticking up for Ken and her decisions in front of Will, and then recognizing Terri's rough desperation. And then the look on her face when Will said 'buh? divorce?' at the same time he clearly didn't understand why Terri did it in the first place and Will was clearly sending Emma signals. Yeah, she definitely gets Terri now.

I know this is crazy late. But I just saw that episode of Glee today and I am just dumbstruck. I want to care and have opinions about the rest of the show. But that scene with will and terri? AWFUL. I fully admit I have a super strong negative reaction to this cause of baggage from my past, but I still cant see how ANYONE could look at that scene and feel with Will. Not anyone with deceny. I mean, I just. I am just unable to speak coherant words beyond this. I just want to see I agree with this post, Especially this part:
I can't stand him. UGH. Why couldn't they have made his married life happy and have all of his strife coming from Sue? And Emma could just be his kooky best friend with a perpetual unrequited crush. Dude, I am so glad I'm not alone on being horrified at that scene. I mean, he didn't actually hit her, but the way the scene was filmed, the whole tone of it, it was meant to be painted as violent, and I was seriously turned off by that. I expected Will to yell, I expected him to storm out of the house, but I did not expect him to get creepy and violent. It was disturbing. I'm still sticking with the show, but I just can't seem to look at Will the same way anymore.
