Norse mythology is one of the greatest things ever. It's a bit depressing, but still.

I've just started reading about Norse mythology, so I don't know too much about it yet, but I kept recognizing quite a few names.

I love Thor, and Sif and Skadi and Njord. OH, so many!

Norse Gods pop up on Xena and Hercules, too. They are specially amazing in Hercules, so that's worth checking out.

The various Merlin comms (more specifically, the newsletter). I usually only click on links that specifically talk about Anthony Head, but for some crazy reason I clicked on a link to the post that contained this vid, and it happened to have ASH, and it was just... fate. Mmmhmm.

Yeah, overall this was a pretty basic episode for me. Probably my least favorite so far. I felt pretty 'meh' about the whole Finn/Rachel situation. I did enjoy watching Kristin Chenoweth sing, especially on the "Alone" duet with Will. Also, I agree - seeing Kurt drunk made me laugh a lot. And Sue's short moment was so made of win. XD There were also a few things with W/R, but other than that, I wasn't feeling much from the episode overall. (Seeing next week's trailer, I'm almost afraid we'll be in for another 'blah' episode with the love square drama. Here's hoping the boys vs. girls competition can save things, though. I'm at least looking forward to that ( ... )

Oh, dude, I so love you for making me feel less delusional. Will/Rachel is pretty much the only part of the show worth analyzing. Oh, I love them. And I hope that your explanation for the story incoherency is correct, but I have a feeling that would be giving the show too much credit. I don't know. And that scene where you wanted to slap Will in the face? That was my favorite scene! He knew just the right move to get under her skin, much like Finn was doing. They were both manipulating the poor girl like crazy. Of course, so were Sue and Sandy. It's tough being the star. Oh Rachel. For as insufferable as she is, there are so many moments when I just want to hug her and protect her from the cruel world. Oh, Rachel.

Also, my Finn/Quinn shippy heart was quite fond of their scenes last night, and I think that's why the Finn/Rachel scenes turned me off so much. Oh Finn! You fiend with noble-ish intentions! At least he was constantly showing remorse, unlike Will, who was just... thinking about himself.

Oh, hell yeah - Will/Rachel's relationship is so awesome to dissect! Aside from the musical numbers, that's what I look forward to the most - picking apart their scenes. What makes it even better is knowing that I'm not alone in looking for moments, *lol*. ;D

And that scene where you wanted to slap Will in the face? That was my favorite scene! He knew just the right move to get under her skin, much like Finn was doing.Oh man, Will really was deft at stinging her, wasn't he? At least I could give a little credit to Finn for sympathizing with Rachel at that moment, but Will...gosh, talk about rubbing salt on a wound. If a person is willing to rub it in like that, then they must really be feeling upset/betrayed/hurt. So, that's another delusional detail I'm willing to go with: Deep down inside, Will was probably more affected by Rachel's departure than he was willing to let on ( ... )
