For some odd reason I haven't been in the blogging mood. I think that's a first for me. Usually I blab about anything and everything, but this week I've just been going *siiiiigh* when I think about expressing my undying love for anything. I don't know. In fact, that's pretty much been my reaction to doing anything since I got back from ( Read more... )

Even if you are not in the blogging mood you still feel undying love! That's good. I do not seem to be much into anything at all, lately, fandom included. Clearly the September lineup does not have my BEST INTEREST in mind for being so Pokey about rolling around.

he trips and falls off the stage while he's doing this kickass dance move and he breaks his neck and dies.
I laughed so hard when I read that ahahahlsdkfj; I AM SORRY. I know the death of your favorite character isn't a laughing matter but it is ALL YOUR DEADPAN FAULT, really!

You know, I seem to love my summer programming just as much (if not more) as my fall lineup, so fandom-wise I've been pretty good (plus, I always choose summer to go and download shows that I've always meant to watch but never got around to doing, or else I was originally snobby about it and decided to give it a second chance. This year it was Torchwood. SO DELICIOUSLY CRACKY, I LOVE IT. And I hate sci-fi. For some reason Doc Who and Torchwood seem to get past my "Ugh, Sci-Fi" filter.

And, ahahaha, I'm glad that Andy's death was able to amuse you. That is his purpose in life and in death.

I just, I don't know, cannot get excited about television at the moment! I am also watching shows that I've been meaning to check out, but none of them make me want to write about how awesome/amazing/entertaining/original they are. Mostly because I do not think they are awesome/amazing/entertaining/original. I am just SO FRUSTRATED WITH EVERYTHING TELEVISION. I blame work. Don't work for a television broadcasting facility. DON'T DO IT.

Ooo, what have you been watching? Obviously nothing good, but... I'm curious. I hear that Mad Men is brilliant, but I tried to watch it the other day and I was bored bored bored. But my f-list keeps insisting that it's wonderful. Same with The Tudors. I don't know. I fear that my growing love of cracky shows has diminished my capacity to enjoy intelligent shows. Did you ever get to the good episodes of Dollhouse? Because that show is pretty entertaining once you get past the mediocrity of the first 5 episodes.
