You FAIL Wednesday night shows. FAIL!

Oct 01, 2008 23:16

So, it's been what, 9 months since the ABC Wednesday night lineup was on? You'd think absence would make the heart grow fonder. Instead it made me say, "What the freaking hell?" I mean, PP and DSM were fine, just... so mediocre. And Pushing Daisies was so effing annoying. The background music was so loud that I couldn't focus on the dialog, ( Read more... )

I am interested in this unsorted meme. I've been pretty fastidious in getting things into their proper folders, but...

Wed nights suck for me and my TiVo. Right now I'm watching re-enactors get eaten by sharks on the History Channel. Yup, pretty dry night.

I can't speak to Private Practice, as I haven't watched it yet, but I enjoyed DSM a good amount. This may have something to do with the fact that I saw the leaked version of the first episode of S2 and it was pretty dull. (And had only the arrest of Letitia in common with this version, though she was arrested at a different time and place.) So the aired episode's superiority to what I saw a couple of months ago might have made me more charitable. I do definitely agree there was not enough Brian -- there wasn't enough Brian in the first version of this episode, either -- and I loved his line about, "I took this job because I was sick of smiling and nodding and pretending to care about people!" He's my favorite Darling.

And, William Baldwin, dude, stop looking like Alec Baldwin and acting with the same quality as Paris Hilton. Seriously. The shower scene? Awful. Awful awful awful.I was loling all the way through the shower scene. And I had just watched some of one of my multitude of Baldwin (Comma Alec) DVDs before I fired up my DVR, ( ... )

YES! Brian's the greatest. There's never enough Brian for me. He's just so... unapologetically awful, and yet he has a really good heart. I love him.

And, yeah, William Baldwin and his ridiculously hilarious overacting. I was laughing pretty hard too. I thought it was a hallucination scene from the wife or something. But then it was real. And I was like, "Really? That was supposed to be real fear? Oh, W. Baldwin. That's just not right."

And yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't stand that Lucy Liu woman. Ugh. She really bugged me in Shanghai Noon. Because she got to kiss Jackie Chan. I never liked her on Ally McBeal either. Ugh.
