Art Bell had a 5 night a week radio show that frequently dealt with the bizarre and conspiratorial. One regular guest insisted that NASA was governed by a desire to duplicate bits of ancient Egyptian wisdom (that's just the beginning of it), that Mars was the original home of man, and a lot more. Trouble was, this guest was sometimes...correct about things ahead of mainstream types.
Art Bell's genius was in getting people to talk. He didn't believe most of this stuff.
Unfortunately, Bell's show has mostly been taken over by the inept George Noory, who does the show 5X a week while Art does the weekends.
That does sound like a show that would be fun to listen to.
The question that emerges repeatedly is, how can one ever prove that a conspiracy isn't happening? To those who believe in conspiracies, skeptics are either part of the conspiracy, or naively repeating the untruths they have learned from those who are.
