Hmm...what can you say about the difference in the functioning of human and equine brains?
Cats and dogs live with us, and we are familiar with the way they think, but horses are prey animals and their whole existence is built around this. I found I was most successful in dealing with them as long as I kept this in mind, and tried to 'think like a horse' to anticipate problems before they happened.
Interesting. Unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about equine brains, having never studied them. I am fairly familiar with feline brains; we dissected one in neurophysiology class in college.
