Rain becomes snow

Today, when I was leaving the grocery store (more on that in a second), something wonderful happened. It started to rain. Why is that wonderful? Well, let's completely ignore the fact that rain is my absolute favourite - I mean, I love all rain. Hard rain, misty rain, warm rain, days full of rain, all of it. It makes me smile every time I get

Boy I sure wish I was surrounded by mountains of snow right now ;-) It would make lots of people here happy too. I've met many a filipino who laments that they may never see snow for themselves. Can you imagine being in a room packed full of people, looking around and thinking "I'm probably the only person here who has ever seen snowfall". Even worse "I'm probably the only one in here who will ever see snowfall". It's depressing. Enjoy it while it lasts, before global warming takes it away. Al Gore's first invention was way more useful.

And yeah, I'm equally jealous of your Natalie Portman-esque weather...and your fresh freakin' mangoes. But guess what I'm about to do - walk down the street to the Starbucks to get fresh-brewed coffee - ohhh, burn!
