She probably has it written into her contract: "This clause stipulates that unless I am portraying Laura Roslin and/or the President of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol in some way, shape, or form, the party hiring me shall not under any circumstances kill off my character through either violent means or ridiculously protracted life-threatening chronic illness. From what Mary (barely) spoke about Scream in NY I wouldn't hold much hope she lives.....I would rather see Mary have a great death scene than just be a background character :D
