The hike back up to their cabin is difficult. Jack's feet slide in her too-big boots, her jeans drag in the snow, and she keeps nearly dropping the slippery bundle of silk and shoes she got from the bar.

It's a more than a relief than usual to get to the cabin, and she tosses off her heavy coat the moment they're inside.

Lorne shrugs off his coat as well and hangs it up, pulling the beads off as well and hanging them both up.

He turns to Jack with an expectant smile.

"Do you want to go upstairs and wait or wait for me here?" Jack says, and there's a little nervousness in her voice now. This is new! And different!

"Are you planning on changing upstairs?" He tries to smile reassuringly. It comes off a bit eager instead.

"I am planning to change out of your view," Jack says primly. "Watching would only ruin it."
