twilightsrain and I have been talking about Pokemon all afternoon!

I'm amazed at how much I remember about those things.

Mainly, because I'm almost 25 freaking years old.

this is nikki's fault, very very dorky, still a loser

Just to clear this up for people, I opened the subject because I had a page of the handbook to analyse for English Literature and Language class!

And that tag never gets old. There're four of them in the world now, I do believe.

This: V. GOOD POINT. You opened the subject for a real reason. I jumped on it because I am a five year old inside. And also bored.

Is it childish that I have the urge to play the games again? I wonder if I still have my level 100 Charizard on one of them...

Full-time child care (uh, not my, uh, child) led me to be an expert in the original pokemon. Here, 7 years later, I still remember that Vulpix was my favourite because he was cute.

I never collected them all. D: But then again, I think I played like 5min on the Gameboy anyway. I was introduced to the trading cards by the kids I took care of. And they only traded on the basis of cuteness.

YOU LIKE POKEMON

DID I KNOW THIS AND FORGET?

Cause MAN! I still love that series! I used to be into the whole shebang -- video games, trading cards (still have my collection >.> ), manga, anime. When I was in middle school I'd get up all by myself at 6am every weekday to watch that show, back before it got all primetime on me. Man! Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon -- the most stereotypical early anime trifecta ever. That was me.

ANYWAY. POKEMON.

OH MY GOD. When I was in high school my best friend and i would come in early with coffee and breakfast, and sit in our Math classroom with the Math teacher, watch Pokemon, eat breakfast, and grade homeworks for extra credit. it was like, a highlight of high school.

I wouldn't necessarily say I knwo a lot about Pokemon! But i used to be able to draw all of them on command for my (well, not my, specifically) children!

THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE BEST WAY TO START A DAY OF EDUCATION EVER.

Although keep in mind when you were in high school I was in middle school -- OR EVEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL *sends out oldness vibes*

Just imagine. At the very moment you were watching Pokemon with your math teacher, I was doing it too. BONDING THROUGH TIME AND SPACE.

Clearly I'm crazy today.

Anyway, that was such fun times. I used to draw them all the damn time.

The sad part?

I HAVE A TREMENDOUS POKEMON FUTUREFIC PLANNED XD
