I am sitting in the waiting room of Lab Corp right now waiting for my blood draw (with bonus peeing test). I haven't eaten breakfast. I haven't had coffee. These are both cardinal sins in SevLand. And I don't entirely think it's wrong to love pets more than anything else. It's why in movies, we can shrug at civilians killed depending on the tone of the film, but dogs getting killed in any situation other than the dogs being 100% hostile is such a big emotional trigger. And even then, the dogs being killed may evoke sympathy. Like when someone I know was playing Resident Evil, and a girl nearby didn't want him to kill the zombie dogs in the game even though the dogs were trying to kill his character.
