somewhat hilarious ironies/unfairnesses

#1: I have arthritis, at 30. It's what broke my toes off earlier this year; it's part of what's causing my neck problems, as it has moved into my spine. I'm 30. With arthritis. In my spine.

#1.5: I'm currently having anxiety attacks over whether this is rheumatoid arthritis; I haven't gotten the blood test yet, but i have other symptoms too ( ( Read more... )

But seriously, I'm sorry to hear you're going through this and I hope it turns out to not be as severe as you're worrying about it being. Definitely try out some swimming, if nothing else I bet it'll be a nice change of pace for your workout routine.

Yeah - again, between my gramma and my mum I have had osteopenia/osteoporosis prevention drilled into my head since I was like a fetus or something, so I hear you >.> I'm hoping that I can keep up with some of the weight exercises - maybe bodyweight will be enough to be effective without tearing away at my joints, or maybe lighter weights. That's for the fskng physical therapist to advise me on, though. After I pay him $$$$$myfirstborn or whatever.
