So I absolutely adore Criminal Minds, and I am finally going to discuss it here! Because season 7 so far has been very interesting, in an awesome way, so yup you know what it's about time for me to talk up this show and maybe find anyone else who likes it #SHAME #NOTSORRY First I must get this out of the way: it's a procedural crime drama. I like CM - it's not a must-watch, but if there's a rerun, I'm game!

The one thing I'm kinda on the fence about is Garcia and Morgan. I have this feeling that if Garcia was Hollywood-style super hot, they'd have hooked up by now, but because's she's not, they can only friend zone each other. But CM still hands it pretty well, and Garcia did get a significant love interest!

Joe Mantegna is amazing though! I really liked him in the recent exorcism murder episode.

I also love the type of cases on this show. When I was unemployed a couple of years ago I got into looking at cold cases and abductions and rekindled my love of Unsolved Mysteries. This show does those types of cases, not the glam Hollywood murders of CSI.

the show and its cast has been my TV family since episode one - you are totally NOT alone :) i started rewatching from S1 prior to the S7 premiere and it made me love this show all the more. i'm SO glad prentiss and JJ are back and better than ever - it just wasn't the same without them. we adjusted to elle and gideon, but once we had the hotch/reid/garcia/prentiss/jj/rossi/morgan setup going for several seasons in a row, it DID finally feel like a whole family - and you don't just split families apart. (so sayeth the internet!) as for fandom - i delved briefly into hotch/reid a few years back, and i still enjoy the pairing - but i'm with you on the friendship between the characters being the best aspect of the show AND fandom. awesome to hear you're as nuts about these g-women and g-men as i am! :)
