What guys? There's only one of me reading this stuff.

I thought that might be it but was hoping someone would recognize the reference and verify it.

Sounds like I have another series to start reading.

I have read 95% of the Anita Blake series. I skipped the 1 or 2 that were 90% bad soft core. But, I haven't read the others. I would consider recommendations...

"Dresden Files" series by Jim Butcher, "Codex Alera" series by Jim Butcher, "One Foot in the Grave" and the three sequels (so far) by Wm. Mark Simmons, "Weather Warden" series by Rachel Caine, "Southern Vampire Mysteries" series by Charlaine Harris, "Rachel Morgan" series (ie "Dead Witch Walking") by Kim Harrison. And probably the one you googled, it looks interesting ( ... )

If you like Jim's stuff, you may also like mizkit's Walker Papers series, under the name C.E. Murphy. They are also not very thinky urban fantasy, and hey, she could use the readership.
