There'll be the usual hetalia purists who think if you're going to wear a hat with your UK uniform you're being lazy and un-canon and you might've as well made the whole pirate thing, and there'll be those who be happy at whatever you wear anyway.
IMO (as a non-hetalia anything), I don't see why you need to wear it with your UK cosplay if all you want to do is wear a cool hat. Might as well make the tricorne anyway and wear normal clothes/clothes that go with the hat, or go the whole nine yards and make pirate UK.
Plus, tricornes (let alone tricked out ones) and 1940s military uniforms don't mesh - there must be at least a frock coat somewhere with it.
Ya, see the problem is lack of money and no amount of part-time work/commissions can make up enough money that my parents have already spent on my tuition fees. >_<
Eh, ok. Glad to get the backlash here on LJ instead of at a con/post-con discussion thread. I'll save my money for something else.

It's not really crack cosplay, more a cheap way to revamp my UK costume.
